Sweet Sake.

My mum said she so fan of making Sweet sake (actually almost no alcohol) this year.

This is called "Amazake" and children commonly drink during Girl's day festival (Hinamatsuri).
I love to drink it and always look forward to drink it during that period.




Not too sweet, and helps to warm up cold body during winter =)

Shiu-chan received some fresh oysters from mum's friend.





Not only fresh shelled oysters but also glove, oyster knife too!
Really thanks to the uncle!!

Shiu-chan commented that Jigozen oysters are very salty in raw.
I understand. Japanese Oysters cooked and eat is much tastier!

casual burger shop, 'THE HAND BURGER'
wanted to go there for quite sometime...



only thing regret was the knife wasn't able to cut well...

Lunch got set menu, slightly smaller portion + 1 side + 1 drink = $8.8 only!!!
(subject to service charge and GST)




Beef patty was very chunky,
nicely matching to burger bans and other ingredients.




there are a few kind of burger bans.

Look forward to go there again =)

French Kitchen??

It's my BD treat for shiu-chan.
Searched seached and then decided to come to 'The French Kitchen'.


Regret to say, for him Lobster Bisque with Tempra prawn is not matching. He was quite upset to find difficult to take soup only with spoon.
His main, beef cheek is also very big chunk and tasted very normal, decoration is too plain, nothing is wonderful.
Dessert was put everything on the small bowl and have to eat everything in one shot.


Lobster Bisque is seems like popular here.


He was really very upset by the gap of restaurant name and cuisine.
'Is it french? looks more like america's...'


What we've eating is very different from what we had here.
Always nice decoration and nice taste, really enjoyable meal.

Today he keep complaining only...


It's very big mistake for me to choose this restaurant...

It was pleasant dinner at Tung Lok Seafood.
Because got $100 off voucher, we went for a-la-cart instead of buffet.

yeah, I really feel if you wanna have nice seafood, you have to spend certain amount in Singapore...nearly $300 for 5 pax...

Ramen there is thick and dense,
takes the thick soup very well.



There's a Singapore limited edition ramen as well.








Ave is 800 - 900 Kcal/Bowl, it's not everyday and every meal...it's ok sometimes lah!!
