This cake, according to the article I read, using Yuzu Citrus from Kochi prefecture or so...
Available limited period in Starbucks island wide.

Light sponge with hint of Yuzu flavoured light cream.
Yums! =)

Sogurt.

There are some frozen yogurt shops in Singapore.
This Sogurt is also one of them.

This shop sales frozen yogurt by weight.
select your cup size, squeeze frozen yogurt as much as you want, measure and pay.

I thought I just squeezed bit only but $4...haha.
Must carefully squeeze.;)

La Duree @ SG.

La Duree is finally opened its door in Singapore.

Bit sad, Bit happy.

Their Macaroons are flown from France, so the taste is same as what I had in Japan.

Of course, I bought Raspberry and Chocolate.

Currently they are not selling Costmetics and desserts.

Sneaky sweets.

Love Letter.

This love letter, we bought from neighborhood bakery.

I am not sure if they bake or supply from somewhere but their love letter is only pandan flavour, very thin layer and rolled few layers.
Lookes totallly different from ordinary type and we like their love letter so much =)

Pineapple Tart.

We just thought of buying bread from Cedele and found their pineapple tart.
Sample it and we loved the taste so much, immediately bought 1 box.

The tart is so freaky, pineapple paste has nice fragrant and fibrous texture.
The more you chew, the more taste coming out.

Price is reasonable, I think I only wanna buy Pineapple from them after this year.
So far we've tried various types of pineapple tart for years, this pineapple tart is best! =D

CNY sweets.

Slowly start buying CNY sweets.

We just bought, we start eating...haha.
Wonder those can last till CNY??? =P

Yuzu Lemon Cake.

Shiu-chan's mum's watch suddenly stopped,
I accompanied her to bring to change battery.

Her watch costs a few thousand dollars but movement is quartz. I was so surprised to know that.

While waiting for battery change,
We went for coffee at SPINELLI.

Had some chat with her and took nice Yuzu Lemon Cake as tea time =)

After that, we went up to service center and shocked to hear that actually not battery, movement has damaged due to badly oxidized battery.

She is keeping watch in the drawer and rarely take out and wear.
This caused battery oxidization, especially in such tropical and humid climate =(

 Suppose just S$55 cost now becomes around S$600...
movement need to be changed...

PA sweets.

After having brunch, chit chat for a while and continue to cafe time.

We ordered 3 types of cakes, share and take bites =)
Their cakes are also pricey, yet think again, GST inclusive is still reasonable.
Furthermore taste is pretty nice.

Mont Blanc($9.5) was thick marron cream, with custard cream in it, Saint Honor was rose fragrance cream and cream puff, felt much better than Antoinette's. Of course, no way to compare with La Duree's.

Their small cheese cakes remind me of local cakeshop, Mozaｒt's.
Thick cheese taste. and soft texture. It melts in your mouth.

Their whole cakes are cute too, maybe I can consider getting whole cakes for some special occasion =)

Awfully Chocolate.

After having our first Awfully Chocolate recently,
We found that their cakes are pretty nice.

Shiu-chan felt like trying their "Hazelnut Crunch".
He happily brought a slice back and tried it.

Umm...Hazelnut crunch is not much nutty taste but very sweet and sugary texture.
Chocolate cake was very thick in texture and taste.
Bottom was just like OREO cookies.

It was rather too thick taste or too sweet, we got scared to eat after having quoter of slice...

I think their original Chocolate fudge is still best of them,
and better concentrate to it only.

Glutinous Rice Ball.

It's Touji (冬至) today!
and people are saying that it's last day of the earth.

But for us, as per usual,
Prepare and eat Tang Yuan.


Sadly I got peanuts allergy and unable to take the peanut soup,
I had share from Shiu-chan =)

Wine & Sweets.

Friends came over to my place to visit me.
They always help us when we are in trouble.

Shiu-chan was pretty stressed by taking care of me, do cooking, do house chores, etc recently but had chit chat, drink wine and snacking with them, he seems he could refresh himself.

I was so glad to see it and also thankful to them =)

@yu brought me some magazines to read during my home nursing.
She shared some stories when she was in hospital a few years back..

It was nice time with them.

Hope to see them again soon after my full recovery.

Kueh Lopis

This was recently what Shiu-chan introduce to me.
I like Malay Kueh such as Kueh Lapis and Kueh Pirin.
I didn't know this Kueh Lopis till today.

This kueh, texture is just like softly steamed glutinous rice, then it seems like jumped into coconut long pool to decorate it. Before you eat, shop auntie or uncle will pour Gura Maraka (I assume) for you for dipping.

I like this not sweet and tasty light sweets =)

This year, seems like not much cute or nice designed package,
but keep it simple or classy design.

Shiu-chan said he cannot tahan see me eat cheap cheap chocolate.
And he decided to buy this for me.

It was my first time in life trying this waffle.
And I quite like it.


I think it is really good snack =)

J-chan told me she likes Prima Deli's plain one most.
Oh, I must try it someday!!!

Yeah, just ice cream as you may know very well.

Recently there are a few flavours newly introduced in their product line.
these are : Limoncello, Irish Cream and mint.

I was excited so much and dropped into my shopping basket.

I like their dangerously rich and smooth chocolate coating and vanilla ice cream.
Especially their vanilla ice cream...!!!

Even freeze it very very well, still smooth and melt in your mouth like soft cream!!!
