Pan Pacific Singapore.

Birthday Stay at Pan Pacific Singapore.

We've stayed there twice before and this is our first stay after their major renovation.
I was actually looking forward to renovated rooms, regret that their standard club rooms are not renovated at all...

However, we loved their club lounge, previously Hai Tien Lo was operated.

W Singapore.

It is nice excuse that this staycation is to celebrate Shiu-chan's birthday =P

We headed down to first W hotel in Singapore @ Sentosa Cove.
the hotel is just opened in September 2012 and it has unique concept among other group hotels.

There is a lot of interesting and fun designs around the hotel,
and hotel rooms are so spacious and relaxing.

Just regret that there is not much shuttle bus services to Harbour Front and we had to take Cab due to raining.

There is actually Jasons supermarket going to open beside the hotel soon,
So after opening of this, the place should be much better.

It's budget, but it's newly opened business hotel chain in Singapore.

(No breakfast)

This Aqueen Hotel Lavender is just opened 3rd quater 2009 and it's really new and cozy kind of rooms...

32 or 37 inch LCD TV, workspace is beside of it. quite big window.

complemently water, coffee & tea...got slipper too!

Location is not very convenient, still its first hotel in balestier is better as it's jus a min away from Bus stop. but it's near from Lavender Food Square =)

I like this touch switching panel =)

Heavy user but it's OKay!!

This time round, I stayed "Serviced Apartment".
This is still categorise as hotel but with kitchen.
Mostly for short - long term stay peoples.

I was staying at [Somerset Grand Cairnhill], a menber of Ascott group. It was lowest rate in Town by the way.

Pretty old building but most importantly, THERE IS A OVEN!!!
(Quite big capacity convection oven)

Electronic Oven, IH cooking hob, Washing machine...etc

must haves utensils are in the cabinet

Seems like nowadays there is no oven in Serviced apartment, it was so impressed me both in rate and oven.

Room was Studio type, smallest size but about 50sqm is cozy enough to makes me feel wanna stay here longer if the price is more lower...

Living and Bed area with flooring.

One thing bad was opposite was doing building construction, Serviced apartment it self also doing major renovation...upper and lower was really very very noisy during day time...

understand, offer lowest rate...

Light wasn't turn on, window couldn't open at all,
bathscale was spoild but I could enjoy baking.

Location is just a minute away from Heeren,
actually next to Paragon's behind entrance. very convenent for shopping.

in this stay, I had much worth thing than I spend.
I am very very happy about that =)

you read 'eibis' or 'ibis'

It comes to end my hotel hopping.
Frankly speaking, keep staying hotel for a week is quite tiring.

This few days, I was staying at Ibis hotel,
which is newly opened business hotel.

Amenities are least, but quite spacious and cozy.
I think Singapore should have more this kind of hotel.
I believe nowadays more...like value hotel and Aqueen hotel.

Not every travellers need grand class...just B&B.

compact and tidy room

there is a small sofa too

My room was facing orchard side, and straight away is Istana.
this morning, I was kneading dough for later oven test...
Look at Istana then...

What kind of hotel guest am I ah??? =P

Used Prima bread Flour and becous I have to leave it for more than 5 hours,
Bread became look so sorry...
anywayi, I could asure that oven is working very fine =)

In the night, I baked Haru yutaka Blend (100% Jap flour),
which I brought from Japan, and asked to shiu-chan's friends for sampling.

did 2nd proofing too long as was busy shopping...

by the way shiu-chan, he suddenly felt like doing salt baking...
so we bought Tai fish (costed $20! in my place only $7 or less)..

it's something he wanted to try and can try with friends,
talk about cost is not nice though...hahaha

tai fish...nicely DONE!!

it was very nice taste, and we were so happy having it with nice wines =)

Thanks to shiu-chan's friends of
bringing nice wines and visiting us after work!

HDB it was.

This time round, I keep hopping hotels as I have decided to be more independent, not to depend on my hubby and his family.

Anyway I came back for a while only, I am just like a tourist now, just enjoy...till I start renting a flat/room.

Changed hotel from 1929 to Link hotel, located just a few minutes walk away from Tiong Bahru market. The hotel is well known as old HDB flat.

this is malay theme room.

most of things are compactly stored in this cabinet

There are quite number of eateries around the hotel, and there is shuttle bus service to Orchard and Clarke Quay, quite convenient too.

1929.

I was last minutes to decide come back to Singapore and so, there is not much offer price for hotel bookings. Somemore during APEC.
Checked few hotels and found offer price at Hotel 1929.

This is the boutique hotel where our favourite restaurant 'Ember' is located.

The hotel room was very small and because it is used to be shophouses, their sound proofing is not good. But the hotel was really pop and cute theme.

storage space is under the bed, fully utilised small space.

small wet area but colouring dun makes u feel it small.

You may look into their designer chairs,
and you can enjoy nice breakfast at ember =)

You'll be asked sunrise or scrumbled egg and they'll serve like this.

Getaway @ St.Regis

Styaing Hotel, It is my little wish to spend all the time only with my hubby.
My most precious time, till now.

I have no house, no family in Singapore.

There is no "totally relaxing place" for me yet.

This time round, I happened to find "limited time offer"

at St.Regis Singapore.
surprised to have chance to stay this hotel, honestly speaking.

I liked Sofa & Bed a lot.

Corners got BOSE speaker. this speaker has own controller too.

We got some hints to our future house renovation images =P

We slept till pig. haha =P

St.Regis is known as their "Butler" service as 6 Star Luxury hotel.

Our Butler was quite nice guy (I thought maybe a lady, like Raffles Hotel)

You can use Singapore First touch VoIP phone to ask butler to serve tea or coffee anytime.

so, of course there is no coffee/tea, water boiling facility in the room.

A kind of "lack of privacy" also.

*VoIP Phone is so common in Japan for e years but Singapore is not common yet.

Anyway, We really enjoyed the stay.

if there is another promotion when I come back to Singapore next time,
I don't mind to stay again.

Morning, have a cup of "TWG" tea.
