Shiu-chan just bought packed sushi from Supermarket and taste it with friend. seems like shiu-chan wasn't satisfy with the Toro quality.

Friend likes wine. he said 90% of wine he had seen in Japan, never seen in Singapore before. is it true?

Pasta & World Heritage
It's so HOT! so HUMID!!
It's so SLEEPY!!!
but this two guys, so energetic! ...me? of cos not...lol
Shiu-chan brought frend to his favorite restaurant 'Mario de Male' for lunch. he is so happy to introduce his favorite things to him.
Local Asari clam and seafood pasta
After having nice pasta and pizzas, immediately head to Miyajima.
Visiting many part of island is World Heritage. walk around Itsukushima Shrine and many temples and shrines then, hike to Mt.Misen.
I love this colour...
It's quite many things packed today.
in the end, we had many drinks at Beer Garden to refresh ourselves...=P

Gizami & Sweet Prawn
Shiu-chan & a friend arrived to Japan, and enjoyed summer fishing which Shiu-chan always wants to do =D
In the end, friend fished one big Gizami fish...erm...that's all they fished....
anyway feeling is more important!!! must enjoy!!!

in the evening, we headed down to typical ryokan for stay. I choose this ryokan as it offers in-room dining with really typical room and it's very reasonable price.

finally...
This trip back, I have very important mission to complete.
It's to learn Baguette and finish my baking study.
Today, I finally, really finally learned this.

Freshly made UDON
Touch down to Japan.
wow....It's been more than half a year since I came back last time...feel sea breeze, hot summer air, painfully strong sunlight...everything is very nostalgic...
I'm back! hometown!!! =)
very happy to see my mother, she looks still cheerful as usual, happily brought me to her recent favorite UDON shop for lunch.
'Marugame Seimen'
seems like their franchising is very fast nowadays...their sales point is they make UDON noodle in the shop. yes, we will able to see whole process of making Udon at the shop.
our fav, Bukkake Udon (just pour soup).
I am not great fan of Udon. but taste is what Udon should have.

Short break.
We are busy visiting our flat to see see renovation works. It's not see for spot check, more like for see see what's going on, how things are being made.
It's really a nice chance to see all these works =)
We are a little bit tired and feel like having nice thing, went down to Oompatico's.
Pita Bread with Humms and like that.
Their lunch menu has been changed abit.
But taste was still tasty, our liking kind.

Overlay PERGO laminate flooring.
Laying person is young but has more than 10 years of experience doing his work. Shiu-chan and I were so impressed and interested to looking at his work.
Before start overlay, clean base floor.
Place kind of plastic, then place another layer of plastic folm. I am not sure what's these.
His work was really fast and clean cut.

Almost completed cove lights and down lights.
Our electricial taking alot of time to complete one thing. I think it is his way to do, looks slow but we are fine with it as long as he complete every electrical work when overall renovation is completed =)

We selected lightings for easy maintenance and clean.
OK lah simple better lah, need to drille to install, different from Japanese lightings then.
