67th ceremony.

This year's peace memorial ceremony is special.
It just because my grandma's name will be noted into the Bomb-victim's list.

We are coincidentally in Hiroshima right now and I decided to bring shiu-chan to the peace memorial ceremony.

Always the day is very hot, people always say "hot like the day bomb was dropped".

It is good that shiu-chan could see the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we were walking towards main street and happened to see riot policemen.
I was first time to see them so closely.

Their ranks are shown in no. of cherry blossoms.
We thought, "They look like Ninja"!!

Shot gun trip.

Went back Japan for attending my very respecting friend's wedding.

It was really a shortest trip ever in my life!
Reached to my hometown in Saturday(Today) morning, attend wedding ceremony and reception, then return to Singapore in the evening.
Yeah, we were just there for about 8 hours.

But it was really a such meaningful, cannot be exchanged with anything, very nice happiest moment.

Thank you for inviting us to their wedding,
congratulation and blessing for them!! =D

rabbit or wife

It's Mid-autumn festival day today.
In Japan, it's known as '十五夜(Juu go ya)'.

In Singapore, peoples are guying and eating Moon cakes during festive period while Japanese may eat 'Tsukimi Dango (kind of rice dumpling, not mochi rice cake)'.

Tsukimi dango has old old people's believe that rabbits living in the moon.
Moon cake has a story of Chang Er, a little bit sad story...
Although both following lunar calender but takes very different way to celebrate this festival...
Which you like?

Tsukimi dango, bite size. old time people sit out side, look up moon and eat this.

Luckily today it's quite clear sky and I am able to look up full moon.

By the way I think Moon cakes are getting more varieties every year...

mid august.

ya lah! I went for baking class today also lah!!!

but today, it was something different from
previous classes.

because,

I learned,

Table bread!!!

YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! =D =D =D

I am the person who always look for simple
and nice bread.

I always prefer to eat plain bread.

So, I am so excited!

Of course, first bread 'Mocha cream bread' also nice.
but in my mind is only to bake nice table bread only.

mocha cream? more like 'KOPI' bread =P

Ingredients for table bread is quite simple and
this is very common lean bread I think.
Teacher asked me to knead and knead well.

I was happy as I was succesfully baked well done bread.

table bread called 'Pain de mie'

Today, It's 2nd day of Obon,

it's been 64 yrs.

It is the day when first A-bomb was dropped above people.

It is the day when A-bomb taken away alot of peoples life.

It is the day when many people started to suffer after effect.

It is the day residences need to think
what our current life is based on...

after 64 years of time, the city, dramatically recovered.
but peoples who had after effect, still suffering...
64 years, keep hurting them badly.

that day, it was more than 6000 degrees of spark,
taken away more than 100,000 peoples life at short while.

we shold know, what was happened on that day,
what was happened on that day and now on...

PEACE is not a easy word, i think.

Dome and Peace memorial,
Quietly keep looking where the world going on.

Quietly keep saying
'NO more Hiroshima & Nagasaki, No more Hibakusha'

'Please rest peacefully, we will not do the wrong again'
This is what we have to promise to all of them.

guest house, villa or garden house.

this is also one of that.

pretty meals(usually french full course),
nice embience, everything is specially cater for couples.
a little bit more expensive than hotels,
but those makes people feel more precious.
