CT scan.

Time flies...It's been 6 month since my last operation.

Today I took CT scan for my lungs to examine if there is any presence of L.A.M.

The result was NO.
We were really relieved to hear that my doctor said it's good.

Well, I will keep myself healthy!

See you again.

It's my last day with current company.
I worked there 2.5 years.

It may be not very long period yet I had many many good memories with this company.

Thanks alot for all the colleagues, superiors.

Hailstone!

It was not raining but, fall a lot of hailstone in Singapore!!

Especially around Jurong East area and many trees are damaged by them.

Oh My bottle!

My water bottle, Nalgene.

Late last year, I carelessly left my long partner bottle in Haneda Airport.
I just got and start using new one just a few month ago...

Then, I accidentally dropped the bottle,
The bottle cracked!!

I had to get another one...=( what a unlucky day...

Mechanical Rolex.

Shiu-chan's dad is typical Singaporean men that likes watch.

He has Rolex that manual wind.
I heard that this is no longer in production and should keep.

Really?


This watch is gifted from Ah Gong to him when he married to mum-in-law.

Discharge.

It's my discharge day today.

Now I can walk slightly more, just very slow.

Drip and morphine dispenser.

Thankful to all the nurses who look after me during hospitalization.

Thankful to the doctor who did my 2 operations in such short period.

Thankful to the friends & families who visited me during hospitalization.

Thankful to Shiu-chan, always being my side whenever he can.

My tumor, histology report says it is "Features Suggestive Lymphangiomyoma".
Doctor said that it may occur in lung and I will need to do lung CT/MRI to investigate in another doctor.

I have very worry about the result, but for the time being, I just need to concentrate on recovery.

After OP - Day 4.

Actually I could be discharged by today.
However, this time round my operation was open approach and I still very hard to walk around, I requested doctor to stay till tomorrow.

from yesterday, I start trying to walk around more and try to bathe see how is the water proof protection.

Today my God-Bro visited me after his work.
They gifted me Essence of Chicken.

Right now I am try to avoid chicken and seafood as advised, I will take it once my fish essence is finished =)

Night time, Shiu-chan came to me after his work,
He all the way came from end of Singapore.

It maybe very normal for couples to look after each other as much as possible,
Still very feel thankful to him...

Just worry that he need to spend quite long going home, and during my hospitalization, his diet is pretty poor...=(

After OP - Day 3.

From yesterday night, I was start having some meals bit by bit.

Today I can say good by to drip, I was happy as my vein has been injured by drip.

By the way it's Sunday today, I thought doctor is not visit me.
But surprisingly doctor still came and check my condition what a surprise!

I was told by nurse that as long as there is a patient, Doctor will visit everyday regardless of any day.
I just wondering then when is doctor's rest day??? =(

My friend visited me in the afternoon,
I had nice chit chat with her. They also gifted me Recovery Ang Pao, in Japan, it is common custom to bring Omimai (Recovery Ang Pao), of course, bouquet, fruits basket too.


Night time I got pretty good appetite, I requested Shiu-chan to get beef wrap from Canele.
It was nice taste, we hope to dine there after my recovery =)

After OP - Day 2.

I was on Morphine as I was struggled with surgical wound pain after the operation since last night.
Today feeling better, even nurse reduced, later stopped morphine.
The pain was eased, I could manage pain just with pain killers.

There was surprising visitor for me, they were, Shiu-chan's relatives.
They spend sometime with me to chit chat.

I was totally unexpected they visit me, I was very thankful to them =)

My colleague also visited me, he made me surprised again as he visited me despite his wife is having flu.
Not only that, but also he bought flowers for me.
He also had some chat with me.
Again, very thankful to him.


I was cheered up by them a lot today =)


the Sunflower bouquet, brightened my days during hospitalization.

2nd Operation

Just after about 2 months from Appendicitis, I went for another surgery.

The tumor (nature of the thing is still under lab test) right side of my stomach area,
was coincidentally found during diagnose CT scan for appendicitis.

I went for MRI on 22 Dec '12, it was found that tumor (cysts) is seemed have blood supply and my attending surgeon suggested to remove it as soon as possible. 

Hence, I decided to remove it on 11 Jan '13.

Same surgeon as appendicitis time as he is expertise in stomach area surgery.


I admitted to the hospital on the same day as surgery, my operation was scheduled as 3.30pm, however,6surgeon called for emergency operation and my operation was delayed till around 6pm.
Anyway, just hope that emergency operation was completed successfully.

Shiu-chan took leave to accompany me, and he was pretty worried after operation.
Operation was successful but I was in the terrible pain after the operation.

I was only keep saying "Pain, Pain", and nurse gave me morphine to ease pain.

My year 2013, started with pain...

New Year 2013

It was very tough and hard year for me in 2012.
I hope this year will be better especially my health.

The tough time haven't passed yet, there always Shiu-chan, friends and families beside me.
I sincerely thank them very much for their kindness, cares and loves.

I didn't know one of Shiu-chan's uncle is working in Sembmarine,
Former IHI in Singapore.

He showed me the project he was involved,
It is the base (I don't know how it called) for offshore oil mining.

I was very surprised to know that he is working there for more than 40 years,
and he might still gets re-employment offer when he reaches retirement age.

I think now really experienced engineers are getting lesser and lesser in Singapore.
Perhaps more drastic than Japan's situation.

MRI.

Undergone MRI.

It was my first MRI.
This was to diagnose the shadow incidentally seen on my CT.

Doctor diagnose it is not cancerous and not like tumor yet but have growing wall.
Suggestion was do operation as soon as possible as it is growing and there is supply of blood into the thing.

It's been just past a month after my appendicitis surgery,
I am actually very freighted of surgery...

This is specially selected for my birthday and time.

Appenditicis.

OH YES.

It was all the sudden.

on the 13th middle of the night, around 3 am,
I woke up by sudden sharp pain on my tummy.
the pain was terrible that how I tried to take it.

I flew back to Singapore on the same day, luckily the pain was much eased and slept well on that day.
Today, I went to see the doctor as still localized pain remains.

I thought maybe just taking medical leave by this pain.

After the doctor examined, he told me, "your symptoms is like appendicitis".

I was referred to the surgeon, I rushed down to the hospital.
Then got CT for diagnostic test, later confirm that I got appendicitis.

by the evening, I was arranged to go for appendicectomy.
All the sudden, I got operation, later I woke up again, there was no more appendix with me and I got 3 surgical wounds.

Everything was very fast and I've never thought that I got appendicitis.
Doctor told me and Shiu-chan that if it was a few hours later, my appendix is gonna be ruptured.

Shiu-chan was that so worried that I went for operation.

My life was saved by the lucks and doctors.
Thank you very much for them...=(

3 small surgical wounds, this is because operation was done by laparoscopic surgery.

Rosemary.

We found rosemary pot on sale in the outdoor environment.
have western herb is one of Shiu-chan's dream.
We quickly decided to get one pot.

Yeah! finally I got driving license!!!


From now, I must make sure road safety and drive safely all on my own responsibility.

I will drive if I got chance to drive in Singapore,
I will drive if my mum let me drive in Japan. haha =P
