Happy 48th Birthday Singapore!

It has been quite a years since I've watched NDP on TV or NDP itself...

Dragon Dance.

New year period, it's common to see lion dance here and there.

We saw dragon dance instead.
I was so surprised to see dragon dance in such a neighborhood area!

Valentine's Day 2013.

This year's Valentine's day,
I don't have much idea to what to do for Shiu-chan,

I just made small and simple thing for him...

Happy that we could celebrate Valentine's day 2013 together.

Although things might not be nice,
but my love for him is never change =)

CNY 1st Day.

What my favourite thing during CNY 1st day is,
To have nice meal at Father-in-law's parents house.

I love their vegetarian chinese miso flavour dish!

After visiting them,
We headed to Shiu-chan's 2nd uncle house for feast again.


They cooked Pun Chai by themselves, this was actually tastier than commercial one.
More healthy and hearty =)

Reunion Dinner 2013.

This year, Reunion dinner was same as last year's, Ordered from Dian Xiao Er.

Their Yu Sheng was better than last year's =)

Tea Ceremony.

It's been 5 years passed since we ROM.

We didn't do wedding reception due to several reason till now,
we did simple and minimal Tea Ceremony.

Finally we became customery couple.

5th Anniversary.

It's been 5 years passed since our ROM.

Time passed very fast, we had a lot of happy, sad, angry and many feelings in 5 years.
Quite some things happened, too.

We are going to do Chinese customary, tea ceremony and then finally we are officially and customary married.


To commemorate our 5th anniversary,
I bought Automatic watch for him.
This is for him to wear proper watch for his work.

He shared to buy half eternity ring with me.
This is for me to replace cute engagement ring.

Both are full of thanks for past 5 years and we continue our life journey together from now on.

Now is preparing for Chinese New Year.

It's Shiu-chan's birthday and Shiu-chan's parents' wedding anniversary!!!

It's also Shiu-chan's one of God Bro's birthday and his wedding reception day!!!

One of Shiu-chan's old friend is getting ROM after a few years of dating.
She is also my oldest Shiu-chan's friend I know =)

ARMY 45th

Singapore ARMY celebrates 45th anniversary in this year!

And it will be first time for them to hold open house in city area, Marina bay.

I am sure both Full time and Reservist NSmen getting lesser and lesser...how ah??!!

Shiu-chan's friends came over to our house for gathering.


Their his bankmate and after NS, it is not easy to have time together.
He was really happy about this gathering and start thinking what to serve for them for more than a week.
I was happy seeing him happy.



And today, they came from totally opposite side of Singapore from our house.

Our sincerely thanks for them for coming to our house and sharing their time.

I wish their friendship will last longer =)

TOEIC.

I had TOEIC.
It has been two years since I had previous TOEIC.

This time, I asked shiu-chan to try too.



then result came.






Whoa!!
Surprisingly my score jumped!!!

Shiu-chan, of course lah~, his major language is English wor~~~...


In Japan, they conduct test only about 10 times annually in nation wide.
Unlike Japan, you can take TOEIC almost every week overhere in Singapore!!!

Airshow 2012.

Shiu-chan is enjoying family Taiwan trip.
I am enjoying single life.


Suddenly, decided to go to Singapore Airshow.
Because I just got to know there will be B787 and A380 can be seen in the show.


SO, I just bought ticket yesterday, today early in the morning, I hope on shuttle bus from Changi airport to see these aircrafts and airplanes =)




Oh yeah, my last visit was 2004. very long time never visit this event...







Sad that there is no B787 or A380 Static display, and actually these were only during trade day, not for public day....=(
But luckily at least I could see flyby B787 and surprising flyby of B-52.

Most happily, I could see my most favourite aircraft of P-3C orion!!! =D

Valentine's day 2012 +.

I received such sweet gift from Shiu-chan,

I gifted a his favourite sweets, Kinder Bueno and a rose.






I don't prefer both giving and receiving bouquets, but just a rose or flower is somehow still fine, we can enjoy in dining table, then.

Glad that he enjoyed Bueno! (he didn't eat it for a long time)

Valentine's day 2012.

Shiu-chan is not a romantic man...
Honestly speaking. really not a romantic man.



But, somehow, only Valentine's day, he will become a little bit romantic man.


Don't know why, not our wedding anniversary, not my birthday, but on Valentine's day.







This year, he secretly bought whole cake from MOSIN again.
He so obviously woke me up from middle of napping and pointed a paper bag, asked me to see what's inside.


OH, it is so sweetly decorated cake!!!

Why are you so sweet only on Valentine's day =P

CNY 1st day.

Every year, CNY 1st day we are having same dish that shiu-chan's grandparents cook.

I love their vegetarian dish and duck =)






Sad to say that after having lunch there, there will be no much chit chat with grandparents and they are just keep on watching TV or busy playing smartphone games.
I am feeling very sad in this kind of situation. I doubt what's the meaning of visiting there and spend time there.

We should visit there with by ourself instead from next year, let's do some action that much more meaningful.
