I like! Tom Yam Soup!!
very clear soup but very spicy!!

look different from well known Tom Yam Soup.

I like! Pomelo Salad!!
Appetizing spicy and nutty taste.

I think got floss oso or wat.

I loved! Dessert Buffet!!
very appearing dessert counter with thai desserts and fruits. it's $9++ per pax.

I had alot of nicely peeled pomelos.


I think wanna go there again soon...

Bread of the week

nowadays really I usually bake in the night after work.


it's the reason why I need to rent whole unit.

used cold water but dough became not nice.


I think better rush to finish all the flours I brought as it's been a few months after purchase already...

Went to Goodwoodpark Hotel for high-tea.


Their quality still the same,
very western feeling of high-tea (I don't know what the real high-tea is like...).

I thought maybe they mix tofu to bake or mix soy bean flour to bake but I think just from its square shape.



Bread contains should be rich in butter and coffee powder.

Went Tung Lok Seafood @ East Coast park for in-law's brithday celebration.


It's been quite sometime we've never been to any of Tung Lok.


Brithday gift? Lotus bun.

They serves sashimi.seems like sashimi in Singapore must have salmon...

creamy pasta

After I cooked for him in Japan, Guess it was very impressed experience for him to have creamy Carbonara.


He was keep saying
[Wanna have it again...]



so, I cooked for him again.




I didn't know pancetta is so salty.


I bought Pancetta (kind of fresh bacon, known as used for cooking carbonara) from Cold Storage, cooked authentic version. Means, pancetta, egg yolk, fresh cream, Parmigiano Reggiano and olive oil.


It's really very creamy.


Simple and thick taste.


I only bought Pancetta, so costed less than $10 for 2 serving =)

Lobster Buffet

There is Lobster Buffet @ Pan Pacific on friday.

Since it's 1-for-1 deal with cards,
We decided to go there.


abut 10 varaieries of lobster dishes.

My friend came back from Hong Kong for a while and met up with them on that day. Had a nice dinner at Newton Circus Hawker centre and went down to Long bar to have a drink.



He is always help and advice us for DSLR or camera thing.
This time round, also adviced and taught me about tips of that. Nice meeting them again, hopefully someday can go to Hong Kong and look for them again! =)

I was surprised to receive ang paos this year as we've merried for 2 years.



realized receved more than $300...hopefully no more next year.

This year, I really happy doing Yu sheng,
Specially at home.


I liked to do with mandarin orenge instead of using fish.

I think did around 5 times.


Ok, next year I should do more and should more creative than this year!!!
