Bird's nest.

I look so not fine nowadays and often said that
'Take some bird's nest!'.

Is it works?
Nevermind, maybe I should try it first.

Then I bought 2 types, which is one shot drink and finish and another one is concentrated and can be kept in fridge for about 4-5 days after opening.

I remember there was once Shiu-chan bought Concentrated Bird's nest for me.
That time I thought can't keep for days and finished about 150g bottle in one shot.
Shiu-chan was so shocked to know it as it was about $100 per bottle...=P

Duck Rice Special.

Shiu-chan's special meal.
It is Duck Rice but Duck is Duck Leg.

Why is it special, it is simply because price will be increased by $2 from normal Duck rice.
It is pretty high!!

But it was nice seeing Shiu-chan after having the meal, he looked very satisfied with the meal =)

Kueh Lopis

This was recently what Shiu-chan introduce to me.
I like Malay Kueh such as Kueh Lapis and Kueh Pirin.
I didn't know this Kueh Lopis till today.

This kueh, texture is just like softly steamed glutinous rice, then it seems like jumped into coconut long pool to decorate it. Before you eat, shop auntie or uncle will pour Gura Maraka (I assume) for you for dipping.

I like this not sweet and tasty light sweets =)

Setaga-ya.

When we were at Haneda Airport International Terminal in the morning,
Shiu-chan was searching for his breakfast and he decided to have this.

It was around 8 am plus...

I was surprised to see him having such heavy breakfast,
But actually, Shiu-chan was more surprised by Japanese customers as they were having dumpling set or fried rice set.

He said,
"Japanese are really love carbohydrate even early in the morning!!".

Yes, I admit. Japanese are carby people.

Kaki Sparking

Before we take domestic flight,
Shiu-chan was checking what domestic ANA offers on board.

He found something interesting, it is "Kaki Sparking".
Kaki is persimmon in Japanese, yes, the sparking is persimmon flavour.

Autumn is persimmon season,
It is quite catchy and sounded interesting!

When he sat on his seat, he prepared 300 yen quickly and asked cabin crew with full of curiosity.

The taste was refreshing.
It contains persimmon vinegar and light texture and flavour.

Conbini Sweets

What I missed most in sweet taste, is green tea.
It is almost impossible to find nice green tea flavoured and reasonable price sweets in Singapore.

I immediately grab and buy convenience store sweets (We call it to "Conbini Sweets").
It is so tasty and so easy to buy kind of price! =D

Having enjoyment and happy feeling is so convenient!!!

This time round, again we flight back from Haneda to Hiroshima by ANA.
B787!!! This is our 3rd time taking it in this year.

We enjoyed watching some documentary show,
like Pierre Herme's culinary show and TOTO's toilet story.

Really love B787! =D

JAL will start operating B787 between Singapore and Haneda/Tokyo from October 2012,
Hope SQ and ANA will operate B787 in near the future or I may patronize with JAL!

PAUL

Me and my friend hop into PAUL for brunch.

In my image of PAUL is expensive bakery in big cities like Tokyo and Hakata in Japan, because there is no PAUL in my hometown!!

And I never encountered PAUL in bakery-cafe style. All what I seen was only take out bakery.

I tried their Tarte Tomato (or something like this name, forgotten).
The texture and taste was nice, my friend's one, Croque Monsieur  also juicy, fragrant and tasty.

We were supposed to just have light brunch but in the end,
we had dessert and became full =P

Regret that their Macaroons are known as big, we tried their small ones and tasted not our liking kind....=(
By the way my beloved La Duree is opening in Singapore in 2013!
Shock!!! ='O
