Arowana

It is always my dream to keeping Asian Arowana.


Ever since I keep some tropical fishes and got to know this fish called Arowana,
I fall in love for its historical back ground and beautiful, mystical shape.


Singapore is one of well known country that breeds Asian Arowana and so common to see them.






I think I am finally enjoy seeing them =)


I don't think I will keep Asian Arowana for rest of life but I feel happy that I can see them anytime just nearby.


Which is very hard in Japan.

It is last day (except Disaster affected area) to receive Analog TV broadcasting in Japan.


Thank you and bye bye analog, hello Digital.



Japan launched Digital TV broadcasting since 2006, till today, these period were for residents to change analog TV into digital TV, whichever replace with Digital TV or install Digital tuner.


Sky tree in Tokyo will takes main task to broadcast digital signals while Tokyo tower ends to broadcasting analog signals in a few years time.



Japan is always keep on going, advancing, whatever economy situation.

Assam Fish head

my friend recommended curry fish head nearby her house.

We went there for Assam fish head instead.






Their Assam isn't like Assam but with thick curry taste,
It was quite hearty meal.


I think I shouldn't have Assam there, I should try Curry fish head.
Datte, I can imagine how tasty if it's curry!!!

Prima Laksa

Shiu-chan said Prima taste instant Laksa is not bad,
and he cooked for me to try.






I think quantity is abit too much for one person serving but noodle is chewy and soup is surprisingly tasty =)


Great gift idea for friends staying out side Singapore then!

Golden Phoenix

Here comes a durian peak season.

We got chance to buy fresh Golden phoenix =)





Yappari, we love golden phoenix most so far!! =D

about 100g flesh, seeds were only 10gm...
thick and smooth texture, thin skin...

Went to cafe biz again,
bcos feel like having buffet and bcos there is 1-for-1 promotion under UOB credit card.



They were having Indonesian fair,
got a few varieties of Indonesian dishes.




These are Indonesian food.


This time round, got more my type of desserts...hehe =P

Tai Yuan

We are nowadays love to explore not so common durians.

today we found and try this :

Tai Yuan (太源).




It is quite similar to Golden Phoenix, skin was slightly thicker, more mild taste than that.
Yet very small seeds as Golden phoenix's.


Rich in taste, nice texture =)
