Wedding @ ASRS

went for Bridal fare @ Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa with friend.
It was my first time to attend officially registered Bridal fare...



Showing both western & chinese table setting.

Usually in Singapore, couple will rent gowns from Bridal Photo Studio and bride will buy shoes for wedding. It is very different from Japanese wedding.

The Hotel is located to Sentosa, and has colonial hotel rooms with rush greenery. Ceremony will be held all glass pavilion. I think it's quite unique and nice for wedding venue =)


Anyway it was a interesting wedding show then.

Cooked Red Bean paste.

300g red bean + 200g sugar.
it's rough red bean paste, called 'Tsubu an'.





It was debut of Le Cruiset...haha

Tim Sum Star

Red Star, well known restaurant in Singapore...




We went there again, it's been about 3 years from our last visit.
Maybe I really like the Xia Cao @ other restaurants, It wasn't my liking kind.
A little bit sad thing to know. I thought last time still like their's...




Does my taste changed? or they changed?
anyway the restaurant, although it's friday today, alot of customers.

Taste Raw

Jalan Jalan to shiu-chan's old house area and we had his favorite Orh Luak.

It contains 5 oysters with soft starch and Crispy moisty egg. just $3 -!






Too bad, I don't like to eat raw oyster, but It was really matching to chili sauce =)

It's mid-autumn!

With nice snowskin mooncakes and Pomelo =)


Pink colour is from Malaysia, friend bought for us,
Not so sweet red bean paste with milk paste, Macadamia nuts centered.
sounds difficult to much but it wasn't! tasty!!
Heard that this mooncake won Hong Kong mooncake competition or something.

White colour is from Cookie Museum, our contractor gave us.
Also not so sweet lotus paste with wallfberries and nuts...(I guess so)


Enjoyed alot this year's Mid-Autumn festival!

Now Jurong East MRT station is expanding Lane towards North South Line.


We happened to experience this event.

Park here we come!

Hop to Bishan Park for weekend High-tea @ Aramsa The Garden.

It was Japanese-theme high-tea, sweets were light taste and volume was just nice. Regret that Japanese Green tea was totally lack of flavour and colour...furthermore the waitress pour too much hot water to Green tea cup =(


maybe just serve sweets is good enough, no need savoury.

Shiu-chan ordered the Signature gureger, it was quite tasty!!
worth trying I guess.



Half-boiled egg, cheese, beef patti and 2 slices of bacon!!

Too bad, most of park was under construction, we were not able to walk much around the park. looking very forward to visit there again soon =)
