it's been quite sometime.

Now my own expenses in a month is just $150.
cut down to half from when I was working.

try not to use, save, save & save,
finally saved amount had reached to be able to go to Basilico.




I liked Tomato Sorbet!! very refreshing =D

It's been quite sometime after I went there last time, taste was still tasty as last time...some are looks much more better than last time =)

It was very shock to know that our very favourite '新東南餅家 Sin Tong Nam Confectionery' has closed...='(

I loved their Tau Sar Piah, and Kai Zai Ping so much!

We tried to find the piah that similar to their's but not able to find till now...then, I thought of trying to make it by myself.

Looked for Oil based skin and Water based skin recipe, happy that there were a few recipes. Well, let's try!





The recipe was for Lao Po Bing, but skin tasted like Sin Tong Nam kind...=)

Tau Sar Piah

Tried to make Tau Sar Piah,
follow the recipe, but I took wrong procedure to making shape...haha


then it became very thick skin...=(




so thick skin!!!

Will try again!

Wedding @ ASRS

went for Bridal fare @ Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa with friend.
It was my first time to attend officially registered Bridal fare...



Showing both western & chinese table setting.

Usually in Singapore, couple will rent gowns from Bridal Photo Studio and bride will buy shoes for wedding. It is very different from Japanese wedding.



which shoe will u get?

The Hotel is located to Sentosa, and has colonial hotel rooms with rush greenery. Ceremony will be held all glass pavilion. I think it's quite unique and nice for wedding venue =)


Anyway it was a interesting wedding show then.

Cooked Red Bean paste.

300g red bean + 200g sugar.
it's rough red bean paste, called 'Tsubu an'.

Tim Sum Star

Red Star, well known restaurant in Singapore...




We went there again, it's been about 3 years from our last visit.
Maybe I really like the Xia Cao @ other restaurants, It wasn't my liking kind.
A little bit sad thing to know. I thought last time still like their's...




Does my taste changed? or they changed?
