Shiu-chan likes 'Togi', he said their dishes are very homemade and tasty.
I feel like bring him to Hyan to gol @ Amara.
He can try their dishes too as we are not familiar with Korean cuisine.
I did not know there is lunch set,
price so reasonable!
I had Bibimbac, portion was smaller than last time I had, I thought.
Rice quantity slightly smaller, but more ingredients...maybe I felt so only.
My fav bibimbac so far...
Shiu-chan had Ja jang myeon,
looks like dan dan mian but sweet...
noodles are very chewy, shiu-chan thought can't finish but in the end,
he finished with smile =)
chewy noodle...
we total up spent about $22, maybe no diff from other korean restaurant yet tasty! =P

what a happy coinsident I thought!
I was just looking at my paper as per usual.
then I saw the photo, a rescure person was from my hometown.
from my paper 21 mar 2011 edition.
I was so surprised and felt so happy.

Wild Cherry cake
Baked cake using my mum's vintage wild cherry.
She picked wild cherries and made it to cherry whiskey more than 20 years ago.
Ingredients :
*Self raising flour 195g
*Cacao powder 5g
*Sugar 30g
*Egg M1size
*Milk 150ml
*Wild cherry 100g
Whisk egg and sugar using whipper till thicken, add milk and mix well.
Add flour + cacao powder, lightly mixed, then add wild cherries.
180cD preheat oven for 30 mins with pound cake mold.
Quite nice! =)

After knowing such a bad disaster, i didnt feel like going out or doing something...
But then I must think positively.
the victims are having very tough time but trying to cheer them up.
How can I feel sad, I must cheer up my self to think and take action for victims!!
So I changed my mind to attend to shiu-chan's family dinner.
Ah Yat is known for avalone dish and seafood, Seafood was normal...nothing special.
But most surprisingly, lotus leaf steamed rice was very tasty!
everybody agreed, lotus leaf steamed rice was most tastier dish of the course!! haha =P

Went Serangoon NEX for trying out new bakery.
I heard that baker was working at Ritz-carlton Tokyo...
So I guessed taste should be nicer.
I also heard the flour is imported from Japan.
They couldn't tell me if it's Japan wheat flour or imported wheat flour milled in Japan.
I just ke-po wanted to know as I am also looking for supplier to import flour...
