Curry Taste

Shiu-chan's favorite cooking researcher,
Mr.Kou Kentesu's recipe.


Chicken & Lotus root curry marination






rough translation : Serve 2

*Chicken wings - 6

*Lotus root - half of 1 part
*salt, black pepper, potato starch and oil for deep fly


[for Marination]

*Curry powder - 1/2 tbsp

*Grated garlic - half a clove

*Soya Sauce - 3 tbsp *Mirin - 2 tbsp
*Sugar - 1 tbsp
*Red chili - 1 (fresh or dried)

1) salt, pepper to chicken wings and coat them with potato starch. peel lotus root, thinly slice and coat with potato starch.
2) mix all marination ingredients in the microwavable bowl, microwave it for 30 second.

3) heat oil for middle hot temperature, deep fly chicken wings and lotus root for 2 - 3 mins till golden colour. remove oil from them, add to 2) immediately. leave about 10 mins for marination.
