I didn't know Baumkuchen in Japan is so popular...haha.
Baumkuchen is known as Germany cake, introduced in Japan by Germany pastry chef Karl Juccheim
and 'JUCCHEIM's baumkuchen is famous.
It's light taste and not so moist. If you are looking for really what you can eat in Japan, it is not the same. What I sometimes eat is very moist and rich in butter.
